Amateur Radio Equipment Specifications
When looking for a new radio - be it a VHF handheld or an HF radio system - you want to
check and compare features and find the radio that meets your needs. To help you do that,
we've collected together a collection of pointers to radio specification sheets. These
specification information sheets have been put together by the various Amateur
equipment manufacturers. We've organized the information into common categories to help you
find the radio that fits your requirements. These categories are:
- Handheld radios, typically VHF, UHF or dual-mode VHF/UHF handheld radios
- Mobile radios, typically VHF, UHF or dual-mode VHF/UHF mobile radio equipment
- HF radios used for high frequency or "shortwave" band radio communications
The manufacturers represented include Alinco, ICOM, Kenwood, Standard and Yaesu - all of them have
a presence on the web.
