This change caused the publisher to decided they wanted a lower page count - and that meant cutting all 400 pages of the "reference" section of the manuscript. In my view, the Pascal market place was fading and there was no sense in my spending more time trying to turn this into another book somewhere else - this project was a "sunk" cost that was already over with. So I decided to spin it out as a "freeware" book. I was surprised, now with the web, to go searching for this book and find that its now stored on servers all over the world! Over 12,000 copies have been downloaded from Snap! Online, alone.
