ARRL is hard at work looking after our interests and deserve our support. 
Personal impact can be realize by you emailing the FCC and your Federal 
representative and letting them know how amateur radio is or has been 
used at Scouting activities (hikes, community events, summer camp, 
Scouting for Food, etc.)

Scouting touches even the most entrenched federal bureaucrat, maybe 
he/she was a Scout at some time.

We can leave the lobbying battles to the ARRL. At a personal level, we 
should let our Government know the importance of amateur radio to the 
health and welfare of Scouts and Scouters.
