Here is the latest news about my trip to Vietnam. The manager from 3W6AR has forwarded my application for transmitting from Vietnam to the right authorities in Vietnam... So far it seems like everything is going to be alright, but I guess I will not get my licence papers before arriving in Ho Chi Mihn City/Saigon

I can't tell you more than people who want to work a Yl-in from Vietnam will just have to listen in on 14182 or 14248MH from the 30th of December at 09.00 UTC, and if they hear 3W6RHA they will know it is me, Unni LA6RHA/JW6RHA.

Does anyone know of how many YL- have been on the air from Vietnam before me? It could be fun to know. The manager of 3W6AR in Saigon tells me I will be the first European YL to visit the radiostation.

Imagine during a period of one year I have been on the air from Svalbard as JW, from Sweden as SM/, from Denmark as OZ, from South Africa as ZS/, from Germany as DJ/ and now hopefully from Vietnam with 3W6RHA. Hams do get around don't you think?? .... hi hi.
